Client Resources

Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC)

The mission of the ADRC is to provide a one-stop source of information for older adults, adults with disabilities, their families, friends, and caregivers. ADRCs cannot provide any legal advice whatsoever, but can provide information on programs and services available in your county. Aside from benefits counseling, they also run other programs such as Dementia Specialist programs and Caregiver Connections. Please check with your county of residence for more information.

Dementia and Alzheimer's Resources

Navigating dementia yourself or with a loved one is an incredibly difficult journey. For that reason, we highly recommend you utilize resources wherever you can find them. We have extensive experience working with legal issues related to dementia. We routinely recommend the following resources to our clients.

Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer’s Association is a nationwide organization with a chapter and services in Wisconsin. It provides care and support, accelerates research, and advocates for laws that help people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. For more information, visit www.alz.org.

Dementia Care Specialists

The Dementia Care Specialist Program supports people with dementia and their caregivers. The four main goals of the program are providing information related to dementia, providing support to family members and caregivers, developing dementia-friendly communities, and training government agencies to be dementia friendly. To find a dementia care specialist in your area, please contact your local ADRC or visit the online list of dementia care specialists.
